Croker S3 type paddles are made with 50%-50% carbon and fiberglass construction, this tube type is best suited for general club use, where many people row with the same paddle. S2 has a similar hardness to the Soft category, but is significantly more durable, so it is ideal for creating fleets for clubs or for education purposes.
Recommended for intermediate rowers.
With a larger blade tube weight, the S3 is less sensitive to strong wind and bad weather, the heavier weight is better in the hand than the elite S4 or S2 blades, and therefore allows for much more stable forward carriage.
The S3 is also a popular choice among paddlers in open and wilder waters.
