BRAČA-SPORT®'s mission and philosophy is to design, develop and manufacture oars and sculls that provide the best experience and the highest boat speed for every rower and boat. Oars and sculls are made using the latest available technologies, inspired by feedback from rowers in collaboration with the world's most successful rowers and coaches.

All products are based on a modular platform. The BRAČA-SPORT® framework, consisting of separate components that form a homogeneous unit, ensures that each paddle delivers an outstanding experience in terms of strength, balance, durability and overall "water" performance.

BRAČA-SPORT® was the first to develop a unique blade shaping system that protects the inner foam of the blade from water penetration and provides extra strength and rigidity to the oar. This exclusive, high-quality system provides maximum durability and outstanding impact protection compared to traditional composite blades, which have a visible foam core on the open edge and are susceptible to damage and the inevitable ingress of water. The joint-free “tube-to-blade connection” design ensures the best possible connection between the blade and the tube, allowing them to function as a homogeneous unit. All BRAČA-SPORT® blades comply with the current WorldRowing safety standards.

To date, BRAČA-SPORT® is the only paddle manufacturer that designs and manufactures its own carbon fiber fabrics used in its products. This allows for the production of a very specific and fine-grained unidirectional high modulus carbon (HMC) fabric layers, unlike carbon fiber fabrics available on the market. The variety of special and fine-grained materials is a key factor in the performance characteristics of the paddle.

The unique combination of patented, multi-characteristic and multi-layer composite fiber laying techniques and consolidation methods, combined with a special epoxy resin and UV-protected gel coating, through high-temperature (160°C) and pressure polymerization, provides the ultimate mechanical and kinetic capabilities. This allows for the desired water capture, pull-through, release and forward roll experience during the stroke and guarantees these characteristics for every pair and scullery produced. The result is the world's first mechanically powered "BRAČA-SPORT®" oar.

Over the past twenty years, BRAČA-SPORT® has received numerous world-wide patents for various technologies and processes and aims to continue researching, developing and creating a diverse range of products that will continue to satisfy a wide range of rowers around the world.
